- The Department of Agriculture in the United States as well as the FDA - Food and Drug Administration and other credible international organizations, consider the ozone a safe anti-bacterial substance (GRAS classification) and authorize its use for application on foodstuffs and improvement processes.

- It has been confirmed that ozone is superior to other cleaning methods and water decontamination processes because:

• it is extremely efficient in controlling micro bacteria;
• it controls the toxicity level of organic compounds and heavy metals;
